I recently found Suave's new Moroccan Infusion shampoo and conditioner and it is the best!! I bought the oil too that I put on my hair before I dry it. Give it a try. I think you'll like it!

Go on YouTube And search for curly hair styling videos. You will probably find someone who has a similar hair type and a lot who have different ones. Watch either the videos by the lady who has the same hair type or your dream hair type if it were in good condition. My hair is thick, color treated, and needs encouragement to go either curly or straight. I wish it were as pretty as waterlily416 (Sarah's) hair on youtube (sigh), but alas it is not. In the meantime, I second Aussie 3 min miracle, which is about $4 at any drugstore, washing it every other day, and staying far far away from anything with silicones... The clear serum-y stuff like frizz ease. Good luck! Sorry such a long post:/
