Thanks most of the time I just wear light foundation bronzer in my checks just to give my face some color and a light pink or nude pigment on my lids along with liquid liner on my upper las line and mascara is that to much?

I think the more important question is what makeup is age appropriate. Look your age, you'll only be it once.

I think 16 is a reasonable age to start, but please don't wear a full face often.. You're face doesn't need that much improvement because you are still young and you're skin shouldn't be exposed to all of that makeup if you don't really need it. I started at 17 but I only used eyeliner & lipstick daily. When I turned 18 I decided to add blush to my daily look. I only wear a full face on holidays, my birthday, special occasions and for photo shoots/shows or performances I'm involved in.

I come from a Hispanic/Mexican/Latin culture. My parents didn't let me wear makeup, plucked my eyebrows 'till I was 15, or else, no quinceañera. :/

I think 13 or MAYBE 12 is a good age to start. I'm 13 and started wearing makeup this year because well... My eyelashes are thin and without it my face looks like it belongs on a 3 year old boy. Don't get me wrong, 3 year old boys are adorable, just not on 13 year old girls! I started with mascara, but I have worked up to some powder and sometimes when I have time in the morning, eyeliner. I keep lipgloss with me at school, but only use it when I have dry lips. So, in other words. 13 or 12 is a good age, just as long as they start small and slowly make it more "dramatic."

When you're 13 14 its ok to try a bit of make up and more as you get older but there is no need to wear make up every day I hardly ever used more than a bit of mascara when I was in school,I only use it everyday since I started college and work.

When you are about to enter highschool (around 8th grade) would be a good time to begin like foundation and heavier things. Blush and a little lip gloss is ok if your in like, the 6th -7th grade. If youre in a grade lower than that, you should wait.

My old friends...they're only 12 and I'm 13 but they are OBSESSED with makeup. One time I slept over at one of their houses and they woke me up @ 4 in the morning and said I needed to help them put on their makeup. like wtf?!?! anyway they wear eyeliner, mascara, foundation, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, and every other makeup! I don't wear any yet!

I think it depends on your face but probably 14/15.
