Use loreal hilift color. I got my hair bright red by using their hilift hilight in "magenta". there's other kinds of reds you can choose from within the line though.

Loreal Hicolor for Dark Hair! dyed my jet black hair bright red without bleach. you can get it at Sally's. I hope this helps! bleach is not the only way!

Loreal high color reds for dark hair doesn't go work well with dyed dark hair..

When you have it red keep on top of it with crazy colours or manic panic! They come out so much brighter than normal box dye x

Get a bright red box dye (Loreal is good) and use that, then like steff said, use a semi permanent dye over it =]

If you have any color on your hair highlift will not work. you will have do bleach if you have any previous color on it.

If your hair is dyed don't bleach it! Use a natural remedy to lightening/strip the color, like honey or lemon.
