I spend months away from home and the family cat. My skin breathes and becomes happy. Whenever I come back during holidays my skin breaks out horribly.
My face has irritated bumps that are similar to what acne looks like.
I know the source of my allergies and I'm to trying to keep it all at bay (cleaning up all the dust in my unused room and washing my hands after touching the cat, for example).
Meanwhile... What should I do with my already bumpy face? How can I calm the irritation?
Is there any DIY method to eliminate the bumps at least?
thanks in advance!

Cortisone cream should help. I have horrible allergies as well. you may want to take some claritin or allegra before you head home amd while your there to see if that helps. but the cream should help. I like cort-aid, but any brand should do. also if its itching try some cool refridgerated gel packs for a bit too. hope it gets better for you!
