Well I use really thin layers because its easier to build up without looking cakey and I buff it all over my skin then stipple where I have acne or marks

Well you should first start out with a primer and then try MAC studio fix..its thick but it will give you full coverage..then set with a translucent powder and then use a finishing powder over it all. hope this helped :)
