Is money more important to you then your integrity?

I'm having a slight problem with my new job at a spa. The first few days I noticed things and I've been there for about 2 weeks and I feel like quitting due to many reasons. However many people are saying stay because its money. I don't think I can, we use bad quality products and the same products for every skin type. We don't have anything to sanitize our nail tools so I've had to bring my own from home and I've learned that they double dip wax so I refuse to do waxings. There's so many things wrong with this place but I'm so confused. I'm trying to find another job right now but I feel as if I should report this place to someone. Sorry for the rant.

Has anyone had any similar experiences?
If you haven't what would you do in the situation?

There is only a matter of time that the health inspector comes in, really. You could probably even anonymously request that they come in then I am sure everyone will either shape up, or the place could even shut down.

Has anyone mentioned these issues to the owner? Just make sure you have another job in line before you quit!

This needs reporting. This salon is not running to safety guildlines. Clients health should be the first priority in any establishment. You should not be having to bring your own equipment to work because the salon isnt providing it. I'm not having a go at you its not your fault. Report the manager and find a more professional place to work.

I would get out of that place immediately. You don't want to be there when it goes down (and it will!) it coitus harm your reputation being associated with that kind of quality (or lack of). Times are tough and money is important but yr will be more difficult to find employment after losing employment due to your skin being shut down for unsanitary practice than purposely leaving because of it! Get the **** out fast and report them!

Thank you everyone for your feedback I left the job and have a trial interview this coming week. And to make it better its closer to home and they're health and safety codes are amazing! I'm very happy with how they take of their clients.

I appreciate all the comments you've made me feel as if my decision to leave was the right one. Thank you for the support because no one else supported me.

I agree with the comments above. this Establishment should be reported because using unsanitary utensils could cause serious problems with ones skin and etc. more importantly, integrity outweighs money any day.
