Is this a bald patch?? Please help as I'm unable to figure out. My dermatologist prescribed elocom ointment for it which I'm applying for more than 3 weeks but there is no improvement. Only worsening it seems.

I assume you were prescribed that topical Corticosteroid for Alopecia, but these ointments and lotions come with a large number of potential (and some certain) side effects.
I cannot relay strongly enough how careful one must be with precise application and following Physician instruction.

Corticosteroids are often prescribed for a trial period for hair loss because, (as with Psoriasis), they work through suppressing the immune system. Both are auto-immune diseases. It is imperative you maintain Physician contact through routine, scheduled follow-ups with your Derm. This should include phone calls to discuss ongoing care with the attending PA-C or prescribing Physician as to how you're responding to the topical medication and sharing any changes that are taking place.

Regardless of why you were prescribed the medication and what your diagnosed condition might be, you should absolutely reach out to your Derm's office and express your thoughts in a calm, but concerned manner. A trusted, excellent Derm will have either a Nurse or PA-C field the call or will schedule a return call or better yet, a follow-up appointment with you. I'd document my hair/scalp with photos weekly.

As much as I'm sure members would love to ease your nerves, this is beyond the scope of what assistance would prove helpful and safe within the forum. I truly do feel for you and wish you my sincere best. Hope you find relief and peace of mind very soon.
