Help ! My acne rate is ridiculous. Some days it goes from no acne at all. And then the next day i just break out! I do have oily skin and i use foundation? Any suggestions?

Covering your skin with makeup isn't always the best you should away a let your skin breath! But when I brake out, I make a paste with baking soda/powder and water , and I mix it with some of my face wash and every morning and night I wash my face and it has helped A LOT!! I suggest you try it! Best of luck:)

I know this sounds weird but I had one of friends tell me when their skin broke out they used beer to wash their face off with and it worked

Are you using a cleanser and moisturizer? If not I'd start, or maybe switch to a different one that might help keep your skin clearer. Philosophy has a lot of skincare items that I use and love, their purity made simple one step cleanser and their clear days ahead acne line particularly. Also, its really important to make sure you're cleansing your face well when you remove your makeup. Leftover makeup residue can block pores and cause breakouts. Use a cleanser/makeup remover, a toner to remove any leftover residue and then a moisturizer. Even oily skin needs moisturizer! And exfoliate twice a week. Moisture is probably the key here though. Skin that's super oily is usually dehydrated, so using a moisturizer may help to cut down on oil production. If all else fails see a dermatologist. Also drinking water helps keep your skin hydrated!

I wouldn't suggest using beer though....the alcohol will just dry your skin even more and that will make acne worse. And I'm sure it would smell awful too. Unless you like beer I guess lol. Wouldn't be something I would put on my face though.

I use proactiv but I will warn you that during the winter use extra lotion cause it can dry out your skin too much.

I recently started using Glamglow clearing treatment a few weeks ago and my skin is combo and my skins redness and clarity has improved drastically. It's a bit expensive but it's honestly the only thing that's helped me so far. It retails for $65 or something at Sephora so if you have a chance to try it give it a go.

Keep it so simple. Use coconut oil I'm the evening as a deep cleanse, massage a small amount all over your face and wipe off with a damp warm flannel. Splash skin with water in the morning and wipe over with some damp cotton pads soaked in witch hazel. Use a very light organic lotion during the day.

Always take off all your makeup at the end of the day and wash your face day and night. Get into a cleansing routine for your face - cleanser, toner, spot treatment. I use neostrata acne cleanser and it really helped my skin a LOT.

Oil free foundation and try not to cover your pores ! Thats insanely bad but also I would reccommed a dermotologist and they could prescribe you medicine that will help !

I swore bare minerals makeup helped clear my skin when I had bad acne but it also covered it at the same time. They also have an acne powder. It smells like sulfur but it works well also.

Make sure your skin is clean! That includes washing off ALL makeup as soon as you dont need it anymore, and changing your pillowcase often! No point going into all the complicated face washes and routines if you aren't even covering the basics! Good luck xxx

GO SEE AN ESTHETICIAN & GET A FACIAL!!!!! Only your Esthetician (A PROFESSIONAL) will be able to tell you exactly what will work best for your skin. Dermatologists will most likely just prescribe you a drying product that will not exactly help your skin; it will only adjust the symptoms for a little while. To get the best results in your skin you should be getting a facial from an esthetician atleast once a month.

Try not to over cleans. That was my biggest mistake. And I was doing too much to my face to get it clear. It was only intensifying the problem. I use neutrogena clear pore to wash my face and almond oil to moisturize. Very simple. Tea tree oil is good to clear up acne as well. Sounds odd to put oil on oily skin but both the oily skin and acne have cleared for me. Good luck!
