Can anyone recommend a good beauty oil or serum to mix in with my foundation or put on beforehand? My skin is more on the dry side, it's not usually very spot prone but I have had a few recently. Any oils or serum that could help with that would be great!

I love the Drunk Elephant Luxury Marula Face Oil, it's so lightweight so it absorbs quickly but still very hydrating and moisturizing. The Josie Maran Argan Oil is nice as well.

Drunk Elephant is excellent. I also love Indie Lee Squalane oil for daytime. It absorbs very quickly and gives my skin a lovely glow.

I agree with the ladies that Drunk Elephant is amazing, but The Ordinary has a Marula Face Oil now and that's a huge price point difference.

The Ordinary's Squalane and Rosehip would both work beautifully with your skin type. The Squalane is quick absorbing and lovely both under foundation and with a drop in the foundation. A plus is that it is highly beneficial for skin health and anti-aging.

I own some of the Drunk Elephant and I do love the line. The Ordinary, for some products, aren't a dupe in my view, but the oils are absolutely fantastic and I would equate them in excellence. The Ordinary Marula oils is cold pressed and in a dark container with a dropper to protect from light and air..and it's under $10. The Squalane and Rosehip are priced equally inexpensive and those should pair well with acne prone skin. You may also want to look into The Ordinary Niacinamide if you have spots that are an issue now and again. It's quite lovely and very gentle.
