I like the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores setting powder- RCMA is my fave but I know you're looking for a Sephora rec. I set with It BBP or RCMA and then use Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder for finishing powder. I like Dim and Diffused for my coloring. Hourglass just released smaller sizes of the powders (22 dollars each) so it's a good time to try them, during the sale. I've had Diffused Light (full size) for a year and I'm just barely hitting pan! They last a long time.

I agree with Jenni on the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, I've been using it a lot lately and it really blurs out imperfections and gives the skin a soft focus effect (:

Is the Hourglass ALP good for everyday. I don't like looking too "sparkly" while volunteering. That and I'm pushing 60, I'll leave the glitter to the younger crowd.

Fillimena- the HG ALP is not sparkly at all- no chunky glitter. I'm 40 so I don't want a face full of glitter. It's like putting good lighting on your face. It's hard to explain. It just blurs imperfection like Alexis said and gives your skin a satiny, flawless look. And it's so finely milled and soft, feels velvety. I swirl a large powder brush in it and dust it on my entire face.

Set the face with RCMA and then finish with something like the hourglass ALP.
