New to this forum and figured it may be a good place to bring up an issue I've been having which is kind of strange. When I wear foundation and set with powder, my undereyes turn this orangey-brown color and it's sooo not cute. It never matters what foundation or concealer or powder! I googled it and the only answer I got was that the particular concealer/foundation is oxidizing. But it's with every different product I use and it never oxidizes elsewhere on my face- only turns gross under my eyes. I haven't really heard of this happening to others, does anyone have a suggestion of what is causing this?

Do you use an eye cream, moisturizer, or primer under your eyes before you apply your makeup?

Alexis, I always moisturize but usually don't put primer in that area.

Maybe I can attach a pic when I do my makeup later today!

Are you giving the moisturizer enough time to sink into the skin before you do your makeup?

I'm wondering, do you have any natural discoloration under your eyes? Any darkness or any bluish purple discoloration? If so, it could be that your foundation is not fully covering the discoloration and the result is a funny color.
If you have no discoloration under your eyes, just ignore all that! Lol!

Kathryn I have the typical darkness in the morning but I'm not sure that's what the cause is. It is definitely once I add powder to the makeup under my eyes. Alexis, I typically let it sit a few mins before I go in with the creams. Should I wait longer?
