Which clothes would be appropriate for a winter in norway? I will be there for a week in february and it will most likely snow :) can you give me some warm and cozy clothing and shoes ideas that are still cute and fashionable? I like neutral colors such as black/grey/nude. Pictures would be really appreciated??

The most important is to have a very warm winter coat, like realllyyy warm and long preferably too. I live in quebec so it gets super cold too here. I usually wear jeans and leggings underneath if its like extremely cold, tank top, long sleeve, sweater on top. gloves, scarf and hat are necessary too. as for boots, make sure they are slip-proof and warm. also wear woll socks underneath. I know this seems like unfashionable but when youre freezing, you won't care LOL. what I do is stay in a certain colour palette. like everything I have is black but I throw in colours on my accessories like my hat and gloves!

So I am not from Norway, but I am from Canada so I know a thing or two about cold snowy weather!
It's very hard to get truly fashionable winter clothes. Because fashion very hardly means practical for snow lol. But I'd suggest looking at longer, thick and lined jackets. I say longer because I find the best way to keep warm is protect your body as much as you can. Since there's not a lot of really warm things for your butt, its really nice when your jacket covers it and at least protects it from direct wind and snow. Something like this is nice.

And definitely a big thick scarf! I personally like blanket scarves because you can adjust them to cover most of your chest, neck and part of your face and they are super cozy when you get inside as well lol. But make sure to layer thickly. I often wear tights under pants and a tank under my shirt, and of course gloves! Make sure your smaller extremities like your toes and fingers are nicely packed in. I like big thick socks in big weather proof boots. The higher up your boots the better, as again not a lot of fashionable things for your ankles lol. Anything fur lined or kinda puffy is usually warmer, its like insulation in a house. And I suggest getting something that is neutral toned. A black or brown is usually what I go for. Just so if you decide to wear a bright scarf or hat or lipstick it won't clash at all. Hats are also key, I personally prefer slaps, satin lined cape! They keep your hair frizz free and don't tangle it so you don't get any hat hair. But you can diy that easily, I find the hat I like Best, usually a thick beanie type that covers the ears, and I sew some satin inside it.

But really go warmth over fashion! If your skin is hurting from the cold you won't be thinking about the fashion, you'll be wishing someone would throw extra jackets on you until you were just a mountain of jackets lol.

Larry Levine makes long, warm jackets at a reasonable price. I lived in Minneapolis for a few years and bought a long down puffer jacket that did the trick! The collar was also puffy and could be folded down or up and closed so it stayed up. It was so warm I didn't need a ton of layering under just made sure my legs and extremities were good. Also I recommend buying those ear muffs that the strap goes behind head and a hat over that.

As a Scandinavian girl myself I have to say it really depends on were in Norway you are going to be staying - It will definitely be cold here in February (Its cold here like 9 out of 12 months haha) But if you will be in southern Norway you will probably have more rain then snow and if you are in the northern part you will have a higher risk of snow :)
