Are they worth the hype?

I've heard bad things- that they kind of sit on top of the skin and don't blend well. They were developed for normal to oily skin- so if you are at all dry, I would pass. The price is fantastic- I was hoping that would be a good product.

I have one of the contouring shades and I love it under my foundation. But I'm not sure how I'd like it all over.

They marketed those foundations for oily skin but they're definitely not for those who are very oil or don't like to/forget to touch up throughout the day. It sits on top of the skin as well, I wouldn't recommend it.

Okay thanks guys. My skin is a bit dry so don't think I'm going to bother wasting my money on it.

You might want to try the Hourglass Vanish foundation if you are interested in a stick formula. It's pricey but it looks great- I just prep really well before using it. If you are interested in a cream that isn't stick, I can't say enough good things about Joe Blasco UltraBase. It's heaven- covers well, beautiful demi matte finish and feels like nothing on the skin. It's been a go to of mine for years.

I LOVE my ABH foundation stick. I personally have uber dry skin, so it was a bit of an odd purchase for me, HOWEVER with a coconut base under the stick glides on, and has the most amazing build-able coverage! Love mine :)
