Tarteist Pro eyeshadow palette review?

I had just purchased the Tarteist pro eyeshadow palette for two reasons... 1, it had more shadows than the modern renaissance palette, and 2 ultra was sold out on their website of the modern renaissance palette. It looks beautiful and has tons of good reviews on Ulta, but I'd like to hear from some of you guys.. Thanks!

Honestly, it's not very good. The mattes are dry and patchy and only one of the duo chrome shades is actually duo chrome and even those are kind of crumbly. They include a little card with 4 different eyeshadow looks and the applications are awful, very messy, patchy, and unblended. Personally I would return it.

I received it for Christmas and I'm liking it so far! Granted I haven't used every color, but when I swatched them on my arm they were fine.
Alexis is right about only one of the shades being duochrome, but the other 3 are still very pretty.
You can always return it if you don't like it, though :)
