I have very dry skin, as I'm on accutane, but every face product I've tried, oxidises at least a little. help please?

Are you using a primer? Because it sounds like you naturally have oily skin, but you are suffering from surface dehydration from the medication (although I know the medication is causing the dryness from the inside). Do you notice ANY oil on your skin, possibly in the morning? Because it is possible to have oily skin and dry flaky skin at the same time.

Have you tried a good moisturizer and primer? I am currently using FAB Intense Moisture and Dr. Brandt primer its been good.

I agree with Marleen, oxidizing is a skin issue and not really a foundation issue. What primer are you using?

I like Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 foundation. I've used it forever and it's cheap. They don't have super light shades, but the lightest one hasn't oxidized on me. I also like Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24 hour foundation. It's medium coverage and they have soo many shades and they stay true to color. This one is more pricy ($45). Both products don't seem to cling to dry patches as much as other foundations do.

I do have naturally oily skin without the accutane, but on accutane there is no oil at all. I use a crap ton of cerave moisterizing cream as it's the only thing to keep my flaky skin at bay. I also use the too faced hang over primer.

I highly recommend getting the Josie Maran argan oil for your face, then a good primer such as the Stila Primer (I can't remember the name but it has 3 colours in it, green, beige, and violet). If foundation is still oxidizing then you can buy a shade that is 1 shade lighter than your skin tone.
