I finally got my hands on Kevyn Aucoin's SSE and I'm super happy because its nearly impossible to find in Spain. I knew beforehand that its a tricky product to work with, and that it takes some time to get the hang of it.
So my first tries have not gone so well... I've tried cutting it with a couple different primers and moisturizers. And even tho my skin looks flawless the minute I apply it, after an hour or so it kinda breaks down and looks weird.

However, I AM DETERMINED TO MAKE IT WORK!! I would appreciate any piece of advice: certain products, specific brushes or techniques, etc.
I am not giving up on you SSE!!

Hi Hailey! The ones I tried are oil-free, even KA skin developer for oily skin. Do you think that is the problem?

I Googled online and beautilosh looks like it has an article on it. Hopefully it helps. https://www.beautylish.com/a/vxncy/how-to-use-kevyn-aucoin-sensual-skin-enhancer.

Thanks Jannin! I had read the article before and followed its advice, but after not getting the expected results with the moisturizers I have at home it might be time for me to get embryolisse lait-creme and try it :)

Hailey, I've searched through all my makeup drawers and gathered all the different mediums I can mix it with and I will start experimenting!! That list includes:
-Nars aquagel luminous oil free moist.
-MUFE makeup thinner
-Alex Carro balancing oil
-Daniel Sandler's retexturizing primer
-Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base
-Nars radiance enhancing primer

Any suggestions will be gladly added to my list (provided they are easily accessible for me) and I will let you know the results! WE GOT THIS

In the interest of not using it all up figuring out how to use it, maybe just do small patches along your jaw? Or even try then on your arm? I was just thinking if you try it on your whole face each time it could use quite a lot of product...
Good luck!
