Hi! I'm planning on going to school next year to become an esthetician. Should I just build a makeup kit or should I also build a kit for skincare? If so, what types of products should I include? Any specific brands?

I've never come across an esthetician that needed a makeup kit. At least, in my area, estheticians just do skincare related things mostly facials and waxing but other treatments too.
as far as school, you normally just do book work and such then practice on each other but uhmm normally they'll have products there to use but you can always ask the school if you need to buy your own stuff cause I guess it can depend on the school.

Hey I'm in esthetics. no they provide you with a kit usually included in your tuition cost. also once your in school and have a job in the field you will get discounts on product from beauty wholesales so that's how you can build your kit but really most salons and spas have product they will want you to use on clients

At my school they supply you with everything you need for the classes including makeup.

I've never heard of a school not providing you with the products with your tuition cost, but you shouldn't be needing makeup in your kit to go to esty school.
