Does anyone know how to get rid of an itchy scalp. I don't know if it is dry it what. but it itches all the time. I do put product in my hair every day but even after I wash it it still itches, I also tried using shampoo with and without sulfate as I have really curly hair. I tried using coconut oil and other oils but it still doesn't help. does anyone know any treatments or products tat help relieve itchy scalp. it is also only in one spot.

Honey I have the same issue and I started using a brand of scalp oil called earth's nectar mint leaves scalp oil. I use it right after shower and in between hair washing, I have very corse curly dry hair( I'm italian,) I only wash my hair twice a week. I also only use luke warm water 1st and cool water to rinse out shampoo. I tell you this has made a world of difference in the way my hair and scalp looks and feels. You can get it on Sephora.com, they have a few other oils that do the same or similar things in the line. They run between 14 and 20 bucks I believe but 100% worth it (;

Head and shoulders doesn't work for me, I use the clinical strength one, it works better

I had a similar issue not too long ago. What worked for me was doing an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse. I diluted it in water about equal parts of both and poured it over my scalp and left it on before I showered. I also moisturized the area with coconut oil. Goodluck!

Head and shoulders is not what you need. And the mint might be drying it out. Use the Benadryl. I mentioned it in another post. My stylist recommended it to me when the weather changes. I've tried every remedy and nothing works. She said Benadryl before bed, and never again does it bother me!! The oils on my head did not help- it made me breakout.
