Today I played around with the Too Faced Grand Hotel Cafe palettes! I was really excited to get this and try it out so I tried to use a little of everything from each of the three palettes. First impression down below and constructive criticism always appreciated!

-Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer in Smoothing
-Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
-Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foundation in Light Medium Neutral
-NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard
-Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder
-Too Faced Grand Hotel Cafe
•Gingerbread Palette (Gingerbread)
•Peppermint Palette (Santa Baby)
-Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone

Brows:
-IT Cosmetics Brow Power
-NYX Control Freak Brow Gel

Eyes:
-NARS Pro Prime Eyeshadow Primer
-Too Faced Grand Hotel Cafe
•Eggnog Palette (Skinny Latte, Iced Coffee)
•Gingerbread Palette (Winter Dreams, Gingersnap)
•Peppermint Palette (Sprinkles, Peppermint Cream)
-MAC Fix+
-Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Lips:
-Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in It's Happening!

I applied and blended my foundation with the Sigma F80. I applied my concealer under my eyes and blended with the Beauty Blender Micro Mini. I set under my eyes with the RT Setting Brush and the rest of my face with the Danielle Powder Brush. I applied my bronzer to my cheeks and forehead with the Bdellium Tools 955. I applied my blush to my cheeks with the Danielle Blush Brush. I applied my highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones, down the nose, and the Cupid's bow with the RT Fan Brush.

I lightly filled in my brows with the pencil and set them with the gel.

I applied my eye primer from lash line to brow and blended with my finger. I applied Skinny Latte to the crease with the Bdellium Tools 781. I applied Winter Dreams wet to the inner half of my lid with the Danielle Eyeshadow Brush. I applied Sprinkles to the outer half of my lid with the Bdellium Tools 769. I applied Iced Coffee to the crease with the ELF Blending Eye Brush. I applied Gingersnap to the lower lash line with a MAC 219. I applied Peppermint Cream to the brow bone and inner corner with the Bdellium Tools 765. I applied one coat of mascara to my bottom lashes and two on the top.

I applied my lip color with the applicator.

The matte and shimmer eyeshadows are wonderful, great pigmentation and they blend so nicely. The shadows that need some extra care with are the pressed glitter type shades, I used it wet to keep the product together and get better pigment out of it. I think using a glitter glue would help too but there's only 2 of those kinds of shades so that doesn't really bother me. The bronzer is a tiny bit warmer than Chocolate Soleil but it's still very natural and not too warm/orange. The blush is super pigmented as well, very much like the Love Flush blushes. All in all I love these palettes and would recommend them!

Love it! How do you like those lipsticks? I've been wanting to try them and I've had my eye on one color but I always talk myself out of it because I've heard mixed reviews.

Gorgeous! I think that using the NARS Pro Prime helps the shadow go on smoothly. That is my go to HG eye primer. Game changer!

Jenni, thank you! I started using that primer because my eyeshadow was creasing with the previous primer I was using. Definitely a game changer!
