Skin reaction to melatonin?

Something just clicked in my head. Ever since I have been taking melatonin to sleep, I have had piety bad acne and I just stopped using melatonin over break and my skin is getting noticeably clearer. Has anyone else had any skin issues related to melatonin? I took 5 mg every night. Sometimes less
