I have been using the L'Oréal infallible pro matte foundation and it is perfect for me in every way except one. After a few hours of wear it begins to crack around my mouth and look awful. I've tried multiple different primers and powders to try and remedy the problem to no avail. I moisturize heavily around that area and it still doesn't help. Can anyone please give me some suggestions that may help me remedy this issue. I really love this foundation. I need something full coverage transfer free and that doesn't break me out and this is the only thing I have been able to find that fits all of those criteria so please help help and all of your beauties suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much.

What I do is , I bake it with powder and instead of wipe it off, pat the powder in. It works perfectly for me I usually don't crack when I do that

Have you tried using an eye primer only in that area instead? That might make a difference

Crack as in crease or more of a flaking issue?

If it's creasing, just use less product in that are. I tend to just use whatever is left over on my brush and just use that over the mouth area. If there is hyperpigmentation or blemishes, small amounts of concealer will do the job.

If it's a matter of dryness then I'd recommend the Cerave moisturizing cream, this stuff won't effect the makeup so much but it will deeply moisturize your skin and not make it heavy or anything.
It could also be due to you needing to exfoliate, uhmm I believe that's all I'm thinking of at the moment

I use the Cerave cream daily under my makeup. The foundation will start to crack and then flake away. I apply my foundation with a beauty blender. That is my preferred method. Should I give the silicone sponge a try??
