Hi everyone!

I am looking to do my own makeup for my wedding. I want to do airbrush makeup for it's lasting power and flawless/natural finish in photos.
Any brands or kit recommendations? What is the coverage like of the foundation? Tips and tricks?

I will practice for the months leading up to my wedding day go make sure I can do it perfectly!

I've heard nothing but good things about temptu and iwata.
I was referred to this blog post when I was looking for info and it helped me out a lot

also, as a side suggestion, it may be worth it to find an artist in your area willing to give you pointers or teach you what you feel you are missing before the big day. I understand wanting to do your own makeup for such an event, but a lot of MUAs don't even do it because of all the stress and other happenings on the day of. I'm not trying to discourage you from doing it, I just think a lot of people underestimate what it entails. makeup for photos is different than makeup for everyday wear and long lasting, waterproof makeup suitable for a wedding takes a little extra know how as well. a lot of artists are happy to charge for a lesson and it would give you the opportunity to ask questions about products and performance so that you have a more solid base of knowledge as you are practicing. speaking personally I know doing that would make me feel much more confident and so much more relaxed about things.
beyond that my main advice is to make sure you put twice as much effort into skin care as you do practicing makeup up to that point. it will make everything go on easier and look better with half the effort.

You make a good point. Thank you for the advice! I definitely want to do my research. You're right though, it all starts with skincare!
