Hello :)
So since I started doing makeup I noticed that I just can't fit any categories between warm/cool/neutral undertones.

-My skin is fair, and looks yellow with sunlight.
-I have a little redness on my face and some pink 'spots' on my body.
-Veins on my wrists are blue and green, but mostly green. On my forearms, they're all green.
-I have dark brown hair naturally, but I bleach my hair to platinum/white blonde and it fits me so well!
-I can't really tell if it's gold or silver jewelry that fits me the best, but I tend to go with gold jewelry.
-I use the shade "fair-light sand" (which is a warm toned Tarte foundation). Its the only shade that doesn't make my face look orange, but still, I can tell it's not the exact perfect shade for me (still really good)
-Foundation with a "neutral" tone looks sooooo orange on me, and cool toned foundations make me look like a ghost.
-Bright/pastel lipstick (both warm and cold) are really pretty on me, dark lipsticks (both warm and cool) doesn't fit me at all. I have thick lips.
-I think that cool-toned clothes (blue/green/mauve/purple...) looks much better than warm toned clothes on me...
-My eyes are dark brown with a little bit of gold reflection in the sunlight.

That's so confusing!!

Sorry for my not so good english!
Thank you xoxo

The best way to tell if you are warm or cool undertone is if you burn easily or not - do you usually get a tan if you go out in the sun - or do you usually get a sun burn? If you burn easily most likely you are cool toned (or have a pink undertone) if you tan easily most likely you are warm toned (or yellow undertone) but it sounds like you could have an olive skin tone which may be throwing things off - I have an olive skin tone with a neutral/warm undertone - I can get away with pink undertone foundation but it usually makes me look pale - so I prefer neutral or yellow undertones - but some yellow tones can be too dark so that's how I know my true undertone is neutral but leans towards warm - and I think my olive skin tone just kind of makes things.. complicated/interesting - It basically just makes it a little more difficult to find the perfect shade but I can usually make things work by either adding a translucent white powder to lighten a foundation or a bronzer to darken it if I choose the wrong color - but your undertone is not so much about what looks good on you - because that is subjective - it's more about how your skin looks when you apply different colors to it - by the sound of it - seems like you are neutral but lean more towards cool tones - which is why different things you can usually make work - to an extent - but if you try just darker cool tones I think that might help since you said you feel like cool tones tend to make you look pale - also a bronzer might help there - anyways hope that helps!

Perhaps you are neutral and lean warm.
I'm thinking maybe olive as well although I'm olive/golden and when I wear pink toned makeup it doesn't make me look washed out, it makes me look like my face is irritated cause it's so pink compared to my neck and chest.
Perhaps you're more neutral olive rather than golden olive like myself. Perhaps you looked washed out because the pink based makeup was sheer and the olive helped neutralize the pink? Perhaps.

With neutral foundations it's a tough one because some brands classify neutral as beige but other classify it as peach which would describe why it would be orange on you but normally orange is a matter of the color not being light enough.

I can KIND OF pull off a more peach color being golden olive as long as its lighter cause then it tones down the orange hue but when I do wear it, there's still a slight pink tone.

I would test it out. Try looking for a neutral beige foundation and swatch it on your jaw. If your neck and such leans a little yellow then you're neutral with a little bit of yellow undertones.
If you find your neck looks slightly green or a pale cool yellow then you're more olive

Hi Eve, you are exactly to a T just like me!! It's crazy , I was reading what you wrote and I'm just like you. I would consider you neutral, that's what I am. We're a mixture of Cool tone and warm tone so that's why it's impossible to pin point it. I have a cool ashbrown hair color naturally and I bleach mine blonde, the colors mauve, blue and black looks best on me and my veins are more green but blue also, I can wear both gold and silver jewelry and I tan in the sun😊 but I'd Stay away from foundations that have pink or really yellow undertones. A few foundations thats workedd for me is Estee Lauder double wear light in shade 2, Maybelline fit me foundation dewy, makeup forever hd and stila. I'd try one of those!!
