Hello everyone it's been a while since I've been on here but needed some help 😊 about 6 months ago I got bayalage done to my hair but wanted to go lighter so Monday went and got it really done I use to use the shimmer lights purple shampoo but found it really drying and researched some other brands and so far I want to try the naissant purple shampoo but was looking to see if anyone else had a better recommendation? I also need a good protein mask and dry shampoo. just so you guys know my hair is thin and dry but my scalp gets pretty oily!! so I need a dry shampoo that gives me some volume and soaks up oil well but also that doesn't feel heavy and doesn't make my very thin hair limp! any suggestions and help would be greatly also appreciated!!

I have the same issue - an oily scalp and ends can get dried out if I don't properly care for them - I like the tresseme dry shampoo from the drug store - even though my hair is black if I follow the instructions then it doesn't leave a white cast on my hair but works really well to absorb excess oils for like 2 days - works great on days where I have to wash my hair but since I wash at night it can be oily during that particular day so I find it works great

Diana thank you for your input I've tried the tresses one before and it made my hair feel dirtier and weighed it down 😢 maybe I'll give them a try again though since it's been a really long time since I've tried their dry shampoo

The batiste volume and syoss volume dry shampoos work best for me. last time I had my balayage done, the hairdresser used a treatment called liquid hair on my hair and the results were amazing, so I'd definitely recommend that for hair that is dried out from bleaching. for an actual hair mask the best one I have tried so far is the hask protein one, it makes the hair super soft however the result is temporary.

I agree with Alexis, the Living Proof dry shampoo is great. I also the the Dry Bar dry shampoo. Both are great for soaking up the oil, and smelling good.

The pssssst dry shampoo is my favorite. even when my hair isn't oily, I always spray some in my roots, as it always makes my hair look better. it blends in really well too. btw I can only find it at walgreens but they may have it other places.

Kenra's brightening treatment masque is amazing, I love it for toning. And as for dry shampoo, Wella EIMI Dry Me Dry Shampoo is great and so is Bigsexyhair Dry Shampoo!
