Hey lovely ladies so I've been using a beauty blender dupe I use full full full coverage foundation and I love that finish on my skin should I spent the money on a real beauty blender?

@NiK I. - If you like the dupe and the way it's performing, I don't think it's necessary to spend money on the real thing, unless it's time for a replacement sponge. There are many types of foundation brushes and they are made to be used for particular foundation formulas. Does your foundation recommend a specific applicator/application technique (brush, fingers, etc.)?

It does it recommend a beauty blender but I worry it will mess up with my full coverage foundation

I use a full coverage foundation and a real techniques sponge from Walmart and it doesn't interfere with my coverage :) do you like the finish you get with yours?

If it works for you then I agree, I wouldn't worry about it.
Will the sponge effect the coverage?
Yes. That's just the nature of sponges. I know plenty of people will argue "it HAS to be damp so it won't absorb your foundation"
But here's the thing, you wet the sponge, it expands.
You squeeze out the excess water.
Suddenly, it won't soak up product?
No. You put it under the water again and it'll be full of water again. Dampening the sponge doesn't magically prevent it from soaking up product.
If your product is very full coverage then you may not even notice that it's sheering the product out in which case it doesn't matter much but if you want fuller coverage and to be able to use less product then go for a synthetic dense brush or even your fingers since the warmth tends to work the product into the skin better and your fingers aren't as porous as a sponge
