Is the Beauty Killer pallette worth the buy? Are the colors good for both day and night looks?

No, most of the colors are patchy AF and overall it's not a cohesive palette

I've seen a few bad reviews on YouTube (apparently some colours are inconsistent in texture eg patchy)

I have it and there are some decent colours, but most of them are terrible.

I got it when it was first released and the shadows are very pigmented and very blendable, I've never had issues with patchiness. The only shade that needs some extra work when you're using it is the gold shade, it's pretty crumbly in texture so you need to be careful with it. Otherwise I would say go for it as long as you're okay with supporting Jeffree Star.
