Hello everyone,

I'm deciding between these two foundations. I have oily/combination skin with light acne and small pimples. I struggle with my make up looking cakey so I would be looking for something not too cakey. Preferably full coverage and lightweight.

I would go for the MJ. The Tarte Amazonian Clay felt very heavy to me and sat on my skin and looked like I was wearing makeup.

I haven't tried the MJ foundation but my Bff has it an honestly, it looks super cakey. Maybe it's her application method (brush) but you can notice it miles away.

Have you thought of the Cover FX custom drops? You can look for a lightweight foundation and just add the pigment. Another option is looking for a medium coverage foundation and just conceal the problematic areas, so you get a more natural look

Hmm I'm deciding between these two now. I don't want something looking cakey and I like to apply with a brush. I want to know if the Marc Jacobs would be a good investment
