Hey guys!
How can I get the 'no makeup, makeup look'? By using makeup and/or skincare to look good?
Thanks ♡

You can either just use foundation, and set it of course. Mascara. And do your eyebrows... something like the "strobing" method. OR you can just use an illuminating primer (I have Becca in opal), to give your skin a little glow.

Skincare should be part of your makeup routine. The better the base you're working with is, the better everything on top of it will look.

Skincare, mascara, eyebrow gel or light pencil if needed, lipgloss and highlighter. this is a simple no makeup/ makeup look. if you really need, you can also use bb cream.

I agree with Leuca, skincare is number one and it'll be easier to create a no makeup makeup look when your skin is at its best.
For my no makeup makeup looks I use CC cream, concealer under my eyes and anywhere else I need it, a little bit of powder, brows, mascara, bronzer, blush, and a my lips but better lip color.

My no makeup makeup look is mascara, brow gel, concealer under the eyes, mac strobe cream to highlight and a nude-ish lip cream. skincare however is the most important part for me though and as a base I make sure to start with a well moisturized face. :)

For foundation, Loreals CC creams are amazing and give an amazing natural look.

100% good skincare. Give yourself a great canvas to work with and achieving a no makeup look will be easy. For my no makeup look, I use Dr Jart Ceramidin Lotion (serum) and Water Drop moisturizer for prep. Then I use Laura Mercier Radiance primer. Then either Dr Jart Premium BB cream or Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Skin Gel. If I need color, I'll use a cream blush- usually Nars Multiple in Maui (it's a matte dusty rose). I keep powder to a minimum. If I'm shiny, I'll use a tiny bit of RCMA no color on the t-zone. Groomed brows, a little RMS Living Luminizer on the tops of my cheekbones. A MLBB lipstick like Clinique Black Honey, curl lashes and a couple coats of brown mascara (I have blonde lashes, you could use clear if you have dark lashes).

I like to use the bare minimal!
A bit of a glowy foundation base (marc jacobs genius gel)
with a mixture of coconut oil and highlighter onto the high points of my face (becca moonstone)
eye wise I keep it simple with a burgundy mascara (Mac Beets Me), and a VERY faint fill in with Mac's Brun eyeshadow on my brows.

@Jay H thank you, I feel like my foundation is noticeable though. What is the strobing method?
@Leuca S thank you, yeah I agree, what products would you recommend?
@Lara C I will try that, thank you
@Alexis C Yeah I agree to, it makes sense, what lip product to you use in the no makeup makeup look? Thank you
@Deborah S Thank you, what moustiriser would you recommend?
@Shona S Thank you, I might invest in them
@Jenni L Thank you, the detail was great, I might have to invest in a few of those products
@Lillee T Thank you for the detail, is your coconut oil literally oil (like water) or is it a kind of solid? Hope that makes sense
Thank you so much ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Anna, as I said I use a my lip but better color so that's going to be different for everyone because everyone's lips are different colors. Basically use a product that's about the same color as your lips but will give them a little extra pop. For me that's the NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien (:

Anna, I have dry combination skin and I really like cerave am for daytime. I also like clinique moisture surge, it's so moisturizing which is especially great in winter when my skin gets drier, however I stopped using it because it doesn't have spf.

@Deborah S Thank you however my skin is oily so they might not be best suited for my skin. Yeah you definitely need an SPF! ♡
