I use them either on second day hair as it holds the curls better or when wet so they dry curled and last longer

Ok thanks use them like winter time? I just never seen anyone use them during winter time... I'm rubbish at putting them on lol when I try do them end of my hair always fall off lol and how to put them on from back of my head

It doesn't matter what time of year as long as you leave them in to set.
I'd watch some videos on ways to put them in, and then it's just practice to get the hang of it :)

I use them all year round, I don't use heat on my hair so they're good for every month! The way that works for me is to wrap a section of my hair around the rod and then bend both ends in so the hair stays. I think it's just trial and error with what works for you, start with the front of your head and work back
