I love using the "New" shampoo bar from Lush, it stimulates hair growth and I've noticed a huge difference while trying to grow out my hair. It has a fairly strong cinnamon smell but that's what's helping to stimulate the scalp. I also use the Roots hair treatment and leave that on for a bit while I'm relaxing or taking a bath.
Other than that, I noticed a big difference when my hair was shorter and I wasn't using any heat for about 6 months :)
