What eyeshadows do you think have the best formulation?

I think for the price Makeup Geek is hard to beat.

But it also depends on what you like in a formula.

I like the sound of makeup geek shadows like every one loves them but it's like 30+ bucks shipping to Australia so I feel like is kinda defeats the point of cheep eyeshadows

Honestly it's almost impossible to beat the formulation of Viseart shadows, it's truly amazing quality! I know they are expensive, but worth the price. For a more "budget friendly" alternative I think the new formulation of Anastasia Beverly Hills is very very nice, they definitely stepped up!

Napoleon eyeshadows are amazing... They are so blendable, pigmented and buttery (well what I think by the term buttery). However if you don't want to spend that much, BH cosmetics has amazing eyeshadow palletes for the price!

I agree with Makeup Geek, here's a few swatches of makeup geek eyeshadows. These are their singles refill pans but I think you can buy them in proper pans too. Top - bottom is Goddess, Bitten, Burlesque, Morocco and Flamethrower. Flamethrower is a foiled eyeshadow whilst the rest are their regulars. They are incredibly pigmented and easy to apply and blend, adore these eyeshadows. Picture isn't edited.

Edda - This is where I order my MUG shadows from, it's a completely legit website and an official seller of Makeup Geek. They offer free worldwide shipping on orders over 15 pounds (24 AUS dollars). That's not difficult to spend considering the singles are 6 and 9 pounds each.

I've ordered UK brands from beauty bay. Shipping takes a little longer but it's legit.

Viseart- unlike anything I've ever used. They practically blend themselves! I also love the MUFE artist shadows. I have a large Z palette if their shadows. I've heard great things about MUG. Also, I like ABH shadows. Once You bought the Modern Renaissance palette, I bought quite a few singles. The price isn't bad- 4 for 40 and the pan sizes are generous.

ABH Modern Renaissance. You will not regret it. They are seriously amazing. I just got eye shadow primer and haven't even tried them with that yet.

I love Tom Ford, yes they are expensive but I just love everything about them, and you get a large pan for your money. I bought the Viseart Sultry Muse Palette, and I was a little disappointed after Tom Ford, I think it was the packaging too, because Viseart's packaging is so basic whereas Ford's is so luxe. Chanel puts out nice shadows too, it can be hit or miss but lately with the new creative director the quality is really good.

I like Urban Decay and Too faced.

I had to live and learn over my many years with makeup, personally it's trial and error, I've come to love quite a few brands though, kat von d shadows, sugarpill cosmetics shadows and loose shadows, mac, anastasia (newer formula) like in the modern renaissance palette mentioned above, and studio makeup shadows as well. Loose shadows and pigments you can control the intensity weather you wear them wet (super intense ) or dry.
