I find it to be a rather light, very soft, medium coverage foundation. I've tried applying it with brushes but I found that applying it with my fingers works the best. It melts onto your skin like butter! I absolutely LOVE IT so much more than the OG Colorstay. It doesn't feel like glue & it's easier to get off than Colorstay.

I haven't tried applying it with my fingers but I have with two brushes. I've tried with both a stippling brush and a foundation brush both from real techniques. I love the coverage it gives and how it makes my skin look. It's a good price too! I highly recommend it and I'm going to have to try applying it with my fingers now! :)

^ You should definitely try it with your fingers! I think their website actually recommends you to use your fingers for better results. =]

I dot it on with my fingers and blend in with a brush. However, I would say this foundation is best for oily/combination skin. I have normal to dry skin and it looks cakey/flakey on me. I mix it in with a liquid luminizer to help but it isn't my favorite foundation on the market. I'd skip it and go with the ColorStay range instead.

I love it! I think it's better than the original (oily skin 1).
