Beauty Product Reviews

Affordable dupe for high end..

I 💜 Giovanni products! They are sulfate free and very gentle, yet effective, on the hair! I was a sucker for high end hair products until I discovered this brand. It's very reasonably priced-you can often find it on sale at Ulta bogo free..and can use coupons. Try this- you will not be disappointed!

Ehhhhhh....

It was okay at best for me. I actually felt it was mediocre after thinking I was going to find the mascara of all time per other reviews. Not so much...by the end of the day, I had under eye smudges and my lashes looked meehhh...I've had better. More impressed by my $3 ELF mascara...

NC45

I was very impressed by this foundation stick!!! I had been sleeping on this because I was so engulfed in thinking "More expensive=better quality/results." That was not this case this time! It matches PERFECTLY and gives a natural look. It's buildable and blends well. If you are dry, use a moisturizer or primer beforehand to prevent patches. I usually apply and then buff in with my blurring brush. I'm in love with it!

LOVE. It's my boyfriend. I like the natural, subtle make up look and this does the job. It's lightweight and buildable. I apply with the beauty blender and for days when I want to get a little fancy, I'll apply with my UD optical blending brush and set it with a finishing powder. Color matches perfectly (NC45 for reference). A little goes along way so I feel the price point is fair.

Did the job...

I bought the trial kit and received a trial sized jar of this product. I did notice an immediate softness and improved manageability after one use. Smell is nice..somewhat flowery. I don't think that I would buy the full sized product for the price though....giovanni products perform just as well if not better and are a lot less money.

I like this powder as a finisher: it can add that coveted polished and perfected look one may desire. Secret: ELF powder has the EXACT same ingredients for something insanely cheap, like $3. So while I like this product and brand overall, I can't justify paying so much more for something that performs the same.

NC45 (or so they say..)

I liked this foundation due to the natural coverage and somewhat dewy finish. It does seem to run a TAD bit lighter than myself, but the next shade up is too red (Cadiz). It's a little more pricey, but worth the money. I easily offset the color issue with a bronzed or darker powder..viola!

Love it..

This is the PERFECT nude. Sexy, fresh, but still professional. I always get so many compliments when I wear this shade. Def a staple in my collection. Longevity is good and application is smooth. Give it a try.

Wish my shade was perfect..

The coverage was amazing and looked exceptional on my skin. However, the color closest to my skin tone appeared reddish on me. I could have gotten the perfect color by mixing two different shades, but I'm just not that interested in putting forth the extra effort. If you can get a match, definitely worth the purchase!

I like!

I got this after several YouTube gurus raved about it. Does exactly as they said it would..provides a nice under eye glow or subtle highlight. It was inexpensive and it will last FOREVER! Only a small amount is needed, even the smallest jar is abundant!
