I am trying to find a foundation that is full coverage but doesn't look like it. I don't want it to be caked on. Well I got the revlon colorstay for normal to dry skin. I use moisturizer then primer then put the foundation on with my hands. I also used revlon colorstay pressed powder. I noticed my face shiny so I took a tissue & I can just wipe all the makeup off?! It should not do this right?! I used to have oily skin but it is more combo now. I also have the colorstay for oily skin & I am not sure if I had this problem or not. It does look like I have a lot of foundation on when u look up close. What products should I try to keep this from happening?

Your makeup can still wipe off even if it's set. I would invest in a brush to apply your foundation & maybe even a setting spray.

Do you wait in between all those steps? Like I put on moisturizer and then 30 mins later put on primer and then 15 mind later put on foundation (then do my eyes and bronzer) wait a few mins and then set with powder.

I love my color stay...but I have to wait at least 20min for my skin to drink up my moisturizer before I put it on or it slides right off...also using a stippling brush is the best application for me

I love my color stay but i also set my concealer and then my foundation. But as the other ladies said it will still wipe off.

I don't wait to long between all the stuff. I have about 20 minutes max to get ready so I have to move quick. And I am using the elf setting spray. I can't tell a difference in it at all though.

You need to wait a few minutes in between your moisturizer and foundation, put it on as soon as you can.

I'm surprised the moisturizer will do that! I never had that problem when using the oily formula since it's dryer & more glue like than than the normal one. But definitely apply the moisturizer a bit earlier than you normally would

you are wiping it off. you need a sponge or foundation brush.
