Never coloured my hair

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me, I've never coloured my hair or got it coloured, but I'm getting white hairs, argh, so I definitely need to hide them. Would you recommend DIY or going to a salon to get it sorted? If so, anyone recommend a place in London.
