I read on Pinterest that a cup of water and 2 tablespoons on brown sugar sprayed into damp hair then air dryer can straighten your hair with out heat. Has anyone tried this or wants to be a Ginny pig? :p I just dried my hair then read this... Haha

I've been a professional stylist for 10 years and although there are some organic "straighteners" out there brown sugar and water is not one of them. All it will do is make your hair feel grainy and sticky and will most likely leave a nasty residue behind that will be difficult to wash out.

Sorry Tiffany, I am just now seeing this. There aren't any home remedies that will straighten your hair. There are several that will smooth it, but not straighten in. Sorry :( womp womp....

It doesn't. However if you want a semi-permanent, non damaging solution you could try this. I purchased it at Walmart for around $10 and it works SO good.

Oh actually if you boil up some flax seeds and collect the slime- it makes a darn good defrizzer syrum. But you have to make fresh often since it can go bad.
