What's an easy way to apply eyelash strips with tweezers without making a mess?

I have a little pink eyelash applicator from kiss. it came in a box of lashes. it's easy to apply with that. if you're just b using regular tweazers, I hold the lash by the lash tips, apply the glue to the strip, let the glue get tacky, then I apply the lash to the middle of the lid, then press and hold the inner end, then the outer. hope that helps.
