I sit at my vanity when I'm doing something complicated or new, but anything quick or my everyday makeup I'll stand with a close up mirror in the bathroom

I stand also. like other beauties have said, it's easier to get up close in the mirror. it feels awkward when I sit for some reason. like I don't have the same dexterity or something lol.

Thank you all for your input. I think it is pretty amazing how just about even it is. I wonder if it is just a matter of what we get used to. I also like to get close to the mirror, but I think it might can be done with mirror placement.

I use to do it standing in the bathroom, then sitting on the floor, now I have a vanity and I looove it. I love sitting bit I also like to get close to the mirror so I also have a magnifying mirror.

I sit on the floor too Stephanie hahah! Packing up my makeup is a huge task, always have to grab like 20 things (brushes, moisturiser primer, etc) carry it to the floor and carry it all back when I'm done hahah

I feel like it depends on my time and what I'm doing (I like to multitask). So usually for work I'm listening to music dancing around doing my makeup quickly iron my clothes and return to my makeup so standing up is easier for me. If I'm going out with people I'm usually FaceTiming, watching tv, so I sit on the floor with my full length mirror. I think if I had a vanity it would be more bar height type thing so I could sit or stand still.
