Hi Star what is your skin care routine like, maybe the problem lays in there :)

For my naturally dry skin, I like Too Faced Born This Way. But in the winter when my skin kicks it up into hyper-drive and I'm dry and DEHYDRATED, I switch it up to Estee Lauder Intensive Lifting Foundation. It's kinda of expensive but worth it to me because it's kind of a hybrid of a medium coverage foundation and a tinted moisterizer. I say that because the fluffy gel like texture is smooth and moisterizing like a TM but unlike TMs, which give sheer coverage, the Estee foundation gives still gives a medium coverage with a satin/dewy finish (depending on how dry your skin is).

Well establishing a good skin care routine with products for dry skin would definitely be the place the go in, in my opinion! Once your skin gets what it needs your makeup products will apply better and you will better be able to find makeup that works for your skin :)

That's still something I need to figure out bkus I don't even know I thought the twice a day charcoal exfoliator and the moisterizer would be good but I don't see no results

Well I would assume that a charcoal scrub would dry your skin out like crazy! I have a charcoal mask that I can only use once in a while because it dries out my skin and I only have somewhat dry skin. Also exfoliating twice a day sounds like it could be a little much. I would go see someone that can look at your skin, see what it needs and then a skin care routine based on that.

I didn't mean twice a day I meant twice a week and I'm not really accurate with that I skip it a whole week or just do it once a week or every other but thanks Sabrina

You might want to sleep with a humidifier next to your bed at night. It puts moisture back into the air. You can get one at any store like Walgreens. I highly recommend you get one.

Your routine may have worked for spring, summer and fall. But winter is another story. Because winter weather can make even oily skin flaky. Naturally dry skin doesn't have enough oil, but dehydrated skin doesn't have enough moisture (WATER) So I think you should get a more potent moisterizer. One that's going to add more hydration. I don't know which Neutrogena moisterizer you've been using, but you may want to try Clinique Moisture Surge. They have 3 versions. The original Moisture Surge, the Extended Thirst Relief and the Moisture Surge Intense. The first two have a gel/cream texture, but the 3rd is which is also a gel /cream thats it leans more on leans more on the cream side (which is for extremely dry skin, I would guess it would be ideal for those with naturally dry skin all year round, but which also gets super dehydrated on top of that in the winter). The first two will completely absorb into the skin. But the Intense will leave a residual film of moisture /product on your skin which is perfect for night or for the super-duper dry. I have tried oils, which are good but like I said, your skin is lacking water. And the Moisture Surge line offers that.
