How do I over line my lips without looking ridiculous?

Avoid over lining your whole lip, like the outer corners. Use a natural/pinkish/nude lip pencil and draw just slightly above your cupid's bow, and if you want, on the center of the bottom lip.
I hope it makes sense :)
