I use them for my dance recitals and they haven't caused any damage on my lashes. Although I don't think it would be safe or a good idea to where then every single day. If you put them on wrong or take then off wrong then there may be a bigger chance that they will be damaged a bit. As long as you use them properly and don't over use them, you should be fine.

I don't wear them daily, only in "special occasions" or when I'm feeling extra glam (: I have not had any problems with falsies damaging my lashes. Just be careful and gentle when applying and removing :)

This is just my personal opinion: I think if you use them correctly, it can be better than mascara in some ways. Some of us rub hard when removing mascara, which can take out as many eyelashes as a wayward strip, and let's be honest, many of us do fall asleep with our makeup still on at times, and we all know what happens to our lashes when we do that. They're clumpy and nasty and fall out.
If you're worried about the strip lashes, start with individuals or Demi lashes. Those are easy to apply and have a much lesser chance of pulling out any lashes. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I'm not going to lie, I use false lashes on an almost daily basis, they really open up my eyes and make them seem bigger. Like the girls above said, it's all about application. Just make sure to apply the lashes to the skin right above your actual eyelashes. You can blend them in with a spoolie afterward. If you apply the glue to your actual lashes, the removal process hurts, trust me. when I first started using lashes I made the mistake of not being cautious enough. I lost a few lashes in the process. Basically just remember that your eyes are n extremely sensitive area; be as gentle as possible and you should be okay.

Try Younique 3d fiberlash mascara! gives you that lash extension look without placing the harsh chemicals in the glue on your eyes. This mascara is hypoallergenic, naturally based, not tested on animals, no GMO, and paraben free!

Ooh, I have to warn you. If you choose to use Younique fiberlash, be cautious. I know like 9 people that have tried it and ended up with the fibers in their eyes. It hurt them very much

The fiberlash mascara set is opthamologist approved. I've had the fibers in my eye and didnt bother me. there are a lot of fakes out there..do not buy unless from a Younique presenter!

MaKenzie I had that problem too! I thought I was allergic or something. The fibers got in my eyes and they were all itchy and it drove me nuts. Plus it just felt weird with them sitting on my lashes. I found the Dior Maximizer Primer to be a great alternative to false lashes, it really plumps and lengthens my lashes before I apply whatever mascara I want. It's a fav now. :)

I've tried that primer Kathryn, you're right it is great! Didn't even think of that. Thanks!

I'd wear my lashes on a daily basis in high school for four years straight and didn't have any issue. In fact sometimes I wouldn't even need mascara on my lashes or the false lashes so my lashes ended up beating healthier and looked good without lashes I just preferred the more spiked lash look that were soft to the touch and looked like hair and not like they were just clumpy.
Just be gentle when taking them off, I have oily skin and lids so by the end of the day they would come off without much issue but if they are a little tough to take off use a cotton swab and a water based, oil-free makeup remover.
If it has oil in it then it will effect how the lashes will stick when you try to put them on the next day

I wear false lashes every day, and I have never had a problem. I have been wearing them for 5 years mind you, so I've had a lot of practice and experimented with a lot of combinations. I find the glue that dries hard and clear hurts like a mother to take off the lashes with.. No matter how precise the application. At least for me. But with the white glue that dries clear (I use duo) is pretty gummy almost? It's a lot more comfortable to wear all day because it's not crusty, and is so much nicer to come off. Never lost a lash from that glue :)

I take back what I said. I wore falsies last night and I got too much glue on the strip so when I pulled them off, a nice chunk of my lashes came with it. My own fault, but I'm so mad I'm not wearing lashes for a while!
