I am looking to buy some good high end foundation but I have never gotten too many high end foundations so I'm not sure what to try! I have light acne but mostly scarring I would like to cover up. I am defenitly leaning towards Makeup Forever HD foundation or Estee Lauder double-wear foundation. Kat Von D lock-it and too faced born this way foundation are other ones I have looked at.
Just wanting to know your opinions on any of these foundations or any other good foundations that you love!!
I am looking for a foundation that gives the allusion of no makeup and that makes my skin look smooth and almost clear, and one that will stay on when I sweat (I'm a dancer and have classes during the day) and matches my skin really well.

Estee Lauder double wear! I recently got a sample of all of those foundation and this is what I found: MUFE HD had a wonderful color selection and a matte but not flat finish. My only problem was that it would make my dry patches stand out. The Estee Lauder double wear is absolutely amazing. The finish is almost identical to the MUFE but it has more coverage. For the Kat Von D I found that it can become very cakey very quickly. I've used a stippling brush, buffer brush, regular foundation brush, and two different sponges, including the beauty blender and everytime I applied a second layer it would become cakey. It also did not keep my oil at bay for long. The too faced born this way foundation was very lightweight but a great medium but buildable coverage. I had a few problems with this one: It was too dewy for my liking but I'm a person that likes to be matte. All of the shades were too yellow for me and I looked oily and greasy within 20 minutes of wearing it.

I have oily, acne prone skin. I use Kat Von D's Lock It and Estée Lauder Double Wear interchangeably. Both have amazing coverage, beautiful matte finishes and literally last all day! I would definitely check them out.

I just bought the estee lauder double wear and I'm so impressed. I fell alseep with it on last night and when I woke up it literally had not moved an inch. The first thing my boyfriend said when we woke up was how amazing my skin looked. And that was after 9 hours of rubbing my head in the pillows. The coverage is also the best I've ever experienced. My skin is normal, but I noticed that when I use this foundation that I become a little dry, so I can imagine its perfect for oily skin if you want to stay matte.
