(that I would just make a quick list awesome hits and misses I found with different beauty products this year now I'm not saying they all half to be new products from 2015 just something you tried in the past year okay) (I'll start with hair products now I know that this must seem crazy but I tried all these 3 minute miracle deep conditioner and I love it big hit another big hit with the got to be volumizing powder not only did give me great volume but it was how I acted kind of like a dry shampoo some misses were the Loreal 7 oils shampoo and conditioner I didn't like the smell gave me a headache and my hair was dry and hard to work with also the dove hair spray didn't hold at all) (makeup I tried 3 full coverage foundations Revlon Photoshop ready it didn't go on very well didn't give me much coverage I was very disappointed also I gave cover girl ready set gorgeous gave me one heck of a brake out but the last one I tried was amazing it Maybelline I've been using mousse also I have had a fantastic time with the hard candy super matte lipsticks I highly recommend it to you guys and I went for it and Got does Kylie Jenner lipstick kit in true Brown and it really does work really was worth the money) (skincare wise I only had wins this year if anyone else has super oily acne prone skin I have had great success with oxy deep cleaning medicated pads I also got the same face wash I've been using the Neutrogena face lotion for acne prone skin trust me all of the products they just said work fabulous) you are up pretty girl's.

Misses: Aveda Air Control. Worst smell ever..ugh
Champagne Pop - Too much sparkle for my tastes
Josie Maran Mascara - Ineffective across the board
Korres Wild Rose + C - Too fragrant for my face and stung my sensitive skin and eyes. I should have known better, but the raves lured me in!
Algerist Genius -Overpriced and ineffective. For the price you could get a facial..so I returned it and did exactly that. :)
Nars - Copacabana, Looked unnatural in daylight. Too glittery for me.
Laura Mercier Brightening Powder - Drying and unflattering. I don't do powder and this was a quick reminder of why. Formula didn't pair with my skin.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Rose Water - It was reformulated...adding nothing but garbage ingredients to what was a highly effective, perfect product...and spoiling what was a skin care staple for me. I am using it up to mist my hair lightly as needed. Leaves a lovely fresh scent on hair, but yeah..they blew it for me and my go-to skin spritz.
Hits: CeraVe Eye Cream - Moisturizing, gentle, pairs well with my other products and isn't expensive.
Clairsonic Mia 1 - Ahhhhmazing clean and soft skin. Much better than my DDF.
Lancome Defincils - Length and a lovely, natural eye with great wear. Pairs well with other voluminous formulas. Splurge item for certain.
Olay Pro-x Nightly Purifying Micropeel - Great for keeping the occasional acne at bay and leaves skin smooth from exfoliation. Need just a drop. I rarely need it, but product delivered as promised.
Glycolic acid - New to this, but a game changer for exfoliating and a killer addition to an anti-aging. Also addresses acne and is inexpensive. Wish I'd tried it in this capacity years ago.
Graftobian Color Correcting Palette (5 shades) - Perfect for touching up areas with creamy feel and long wear. I use so little, this will last forever.
Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer - Pricey, but an amazing undereye conceal/brighten product so incredibly pigmented that I cut it with Embryolisse Lait-creme. Even then..I can't imagine ever using up the jar. Perfect for concealing and/or brightening.
Olaplex - Made the switch. Glad I did. Softer, silkier, shinier hair. I'm hoping this is the case in the long haul.
Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Treatment - Killer deep conditioning for anyone..especially damaged or processed hair. Slept in it a few weeks and it literally saved my hair after a botched color while my stylist was on tour.
Pureology Hydrate Shine Max - shine with little product, keeps frizz in check, helps retain moisture.
Pureology Strength Cure Restorative Masque - Highly effective powerhouse that I alternated weekly with Aveda.
Say goodbye to breakage and just..wow. Love love...
Great thread, Nikki! Thanks for all your feedback. This is a great way to share and look for new products. :)

It can be drying, but when I use it, I apply it at night while reading or watching tv..a few hours before bed. Then, use a moisturizer at bed. I hope we see more feedback about other hits and misses.

This year for me was when I discovered mild acne on my cheeks for the first time, so I tried a few products to cover and treat this issue, with great results!
MUFE Ultra HD liquid foundation- invisible coverage, great if built up with thin layers where blemishes are/were
HD powder
IT cosmetics brow power
MAC eyebrow pencil (maybe a bit too on the red side for me but the texture is fabulous)
Wayne Goss brush 2 & brow kit-
WG brushes changed my life :) love brush 2 to lightly powder or highlight, it's so soft!
The brow kit comes with the best brush ever- I finally found a match for my beloved MUFE Aqua Brow!
Fresh "sugar plum" spf lip balm - this maroon sheer shade gives the perfect amount of color to my lips: slightly deeper, moisturized and rich.
RCMA VK11 palette- this palette is great when I'm doing my friends or family's makeup :)
Marc Jacobs eyeshadows- what a great discovery! His shadows are the bee's knees! Thanks Hannah ;)
Erborian ginseng CC cream with spf 45 (helped me to fight acne scarring while giving me a healthy glow)
CoverFX blemish primer
First Aid Beauty glycolic acid pads
Bioderma micellar water
Avene cleanance plus cream (This is what I'm currently using at night and it stops breakouts from forming...genius!)
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse (this I love for my hair when it's wash day, it can get very frizzy and dry but this dry oil helps so much and smells phenomenal!)
Biotec Italia RenLive Aselox- my go-to for my acne struggle in the beginning of the year. Very effective with azelaic acid but sooooo expensive!
Embryolisse lait-crème concentré: this is a good moisturizer that works well under makeup :) I was very skeptical about it but I ended up loving it!
Misses
Erborian Ginseng BB cream... There's only one shade and it's too ashy for me. But the consistency is nice! I'm giving it to a friend :)
Better than sex mascara by Too Faced... It's okay at best. It's not a bad mascara, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
High beam by Benefit- too shimmery, too cool for my coloring
KIKO radiant touch highlighter stick in 100- It's not a bad product but I have never used it, because I have way better highlighters than this one.
& Same goes for another KIKO highlighter that came in a contour duo, highlighting pencil in 01. Actually, this one's just bad. It could probably be repurposed for eyeshadow base but even then I don't know if it would perform well. The contouring pencil it came with is awesome, though.
Also, I've gone the whole year without wearing nail polish and without bleaching my hair, yayy!

A year without polish? I'd die! I really love Fresh's lip products as well. Always stock up around the holidays when they have gift packs. I've never heard your hair product so now I'm curious. Could you elaborate, Breeze?
Niki, I hope you like it. Save your receipt just in case! You need only a very thin layer and the dropper helps dispense the correct amount. Just remember to introduce it to skin slowly..perhaps beginning with every 3rd day..and then every other day... and make sure you are using a hydrating wash and a moisturizer to counter dryness. If it doesn't work after you have given it some time, don't fret. You can always switch to Glycolic acid, but we will see how your skin responds first. Just keep a light hand and moisturize like mad!

Rozberry, I was in the States this summer and I experimented with some hair products, I've been using Shea Moisture's moisture retention shampoo and I'm loving the Curl Enhancing
Smoothie by the same company :) they do wonders for my curls... My hair is getting longer and the ringlets are showing now!

My hair in the picture is nearly dry with no product in it, two days ago. The left picture is more true to its actual color, while the one on the right shows texture best.
