I really enjoy the Shade and Light shadows. It is versatile and can be used soft and romantic, nuetral or dramatic and bold. Shadows are highly pigmented and creamy. I regret my Nakeds and feel the wear and quality of Kat's shadows much better..and for less money.

I'm definitely leaning towards the shade and light. I just wish it had one maybe two shimmer shadows but I just spotted the new Loreal shadows at my Walgreens and there are some beautiful shimmer shades

I really enjoy both! the kvd are easier to blend, the in bloom palette obviously is more versatile. if you have a lot of other palettes with good pops of color and/or shimmers I would probably go with kvd.

I'm not sure where you are located, but the KVD monarch palette is a mix of matte and shimmer.

Ashli, I got the Tartelette in bloom palette for Christmas and I have to say it's absolutely gorgeous. I'm a neutrals girl and all the colours are right up my alley! they are smooth, buttery and so pigmented! The shimmers are so smooth and there was absolutely no fall out. The matte shades are not chalky at all and blend beautifully. I haven't tried the Kat Von D palette and so can't comment on that.

@Kelly I totally have the monarch palette. Lol I'm a bit of a makeup freak. My collection just keeps growing. Makes me kinda sick at times lol. I went with the Kat Von D palette. I couldn't find the in bloom palette anywhere!! I tried two different sephoras and an ulta. So I went with the KVD and bought some of the new Loreal shadows for shimmer. Ugh and I bought a new beauty blender and the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder three lip liners and a lipstick. Oh man the sickness is real ladies. I have a totally makeup problem.
