I recently tried out the Estee lauder heavy cover concealer in the compact and I am really liking it for covering blemishes and red scars.

Dermablend makes a great one. It's $38 at Ulta stores. I got this for my daughter who has bad acne and scabby skin.

Do you want something to apply to the entire forehead, or a spot concealer? For spots, I prefer a pencil concealer. It's dryer, so it doesn't smudge like creams do. I used to use a pencil by Shiseido - I have tons of them stocked up - but they don't make them any more, which is a big disappointment to me. MAC, however, has a pencil concealer that comes in 2 shades called the Chromagraphic Pencil. It's a little bit creamier than the Shiseido, so it may not be quite as long lasting, but what I like about a thin pencil (not the chunky ones) is that you can cover exactly where you want to cover.

I agree with dermablend it's one of those full cover concealers advertised to cover tattoos (look up zombie boy dermablend on YouTube to watch it work) also I like that it doesn't break me out further since I'm acne prone - other concealers I love are by MUFE the full cover and KVD concealer - another one made to cover tattoos - all cover my dark acne scars beautifully and don't irritate my sensitive skin.

In my opinion the Estée Lauder double wear concealer is really good for covering acne scars.
