Hi Beauties.


I have a question..

what other makeup brand can you use in the Dinair system.
I have 6 years using the brand Dinair and I LOVE it.
However for a few upcomming makeup I want to try out a new brand- Dinair is sometimes too expensive. what other brand Can I uses instead of Dinair. and IF too thick is it possible to thin the makeup consistency too work in the DINAIR system...

In the near future I am planning to invest into a bigger compressor and a bigger capacity airbrush gun (nozzle size) in order to be able to do Full body airbrush. Which brand ( compressor is recommended)??

If I am not mistaken, Dinair's A/B foundation is water based. If you just want to try another water based airbrush foundation, I'd check out Kett's Hydro or Camera Ready Cosmetics makes a fantastic, and very reasonable priced w/b a/b foundation. I also like OCC's Skin as well. Here's a link to the Camera Ready:

If you want to use a s/b, as a general rule of thumb, they are more viscous (I.e. thicker) than water based ones. I don't know what model of Dinair compressor you have, but in order for a s/b foundation to atomize properly, you need at least 15 PSI, and a larger .3 to.4 nozzle. W/B foundations generally perform best within a 1-12 PSI range so I'm guessing that's what your compressor and brush are designed to work with. My favorite silicone a/b is Temptu.

If you want to try a s/b through your system, you may have to thin it a bit. I use 244 (a liquid silicone base). I purchase mine from Alcone. Here's a link to it:

Generally speaking, you thin a w/b a/b foundation with water, you thin a s/b with 244 and an a/b with alcohol or witch hazel.

If you want to do full body work, I'd recommend the Iwata Medea Smart Jet Pro Compressor.

I will go and check the links you provided. Also the Kett's Hydro or Camera Ready Cosmetics info.. for the w/b.
I have the Dinair compressor (the one of 299$) its 0- 15 psi.

I also have the Temptu Compressor (The S-one)
But I don't like the compressor. The a/b line is awesome. Love the makeup colors and how they stay.
But due the fact that the compressor shuts down every 30 - 45 minutes I am not using it anymore. :(
During Carnival Season I tend to do Airbrush to 20 - 25 people and it makes me crazy waiting for it too cool down in order to continue.

I like the Dinair makeup shine.. However after using it for 6 years I want to move to a new machine soon in order to face new challenges.
