Is there anything you all could recommend? Maybe a good lip treatment and primer? I really don't know what it is, it could just be my lips getting dry after lipstick...or it could be the lipstick I use (Colour Pop). By the end of the night my lips are super dry with patches 😫

Try a gloss over your lipstick. Definitely helps my lips look smooth.

Christine is it the liquid lipsticks from Colourpop?
Lips does get dried out with liquid lipsticks - make sure to exfoliate your lips before and and use a good lip balm. And again once you remove the lippie.
I use the NUXE lip balm, the one in the little jar, and my lips have not been chapped or dry ever since I started using it. I apply it every night before bed!

Certain lipsticks just aren't worth the payoff either. For me an example would be the Revlon Colorstay Overtime. IT SUCKS.

Apply pawpaw ointment at night, it's really good

I love pawpaw ointment too. Or Homeoplasmine. If I'm using liquid lipstick, I use my Rosebud salve first in my skin prep routine. I do all my makeup and let it soak in. Then I take the excess off with a tissue and apply liquid lipstick.

Make sure to exfoliate your lips before starting. You can do this with a lip scrub or your toothbrush. Then apply paw paw or lip balm. Then put on your lipstick and if you need even more moisture, apply a small amount of paw paw/ lip balm over top. Also, make sure the lipsticks you use are hydrating ones, not liquid or matte.

I suggest buying and lip conditioner or lip moisturizer that comes in a squeeze tube.
Just squeeze out a TINY amount(too much and it can change the finish/wear of lipstick) on your finger tip and dab on your lips when you feel your lips are getting dry.
Sticks lip moisturizers tend to move around the lipstick.
Lipgloss liquify the lipstick and make it transferable
Treatments help but when the product is drying out your lips throughout the day it's not really effective relying on treatments at night.
It's kind of like... Putting sunscreen at night to protect you from the sun later in the day.

I usually brush my lips at night when brushing my teeth & I apply lip balm after

I usually exfoliate my lips with a simple sugar scrub and apply a high quality lip balm after. Before I put on lipstick, I put on lip balm too, and also after. The balm may pick up some lipstick, but you can patch it up. HOPE THIS HELPS

Guys so I have the same problem and some of y'all suggested to apply lip balm/gloss to get read of crusty/patchy lips, and it sorta kinda works!! I apply lip balm a while before I apply lipstick, and it really helps!
