So I been dying my hair for 6 years on my own now I gone blue, red, green you name it and lately I been growing my hair out and its a pretty decent length and haven't really dyed my hair in a while my hair was red for a month or two last year and February I dyed it back to black and I havent touched it since and I wanna go back to silver and I was wondering has anyone done that? did you use a color removal first then bleach? should I lighten my hair little by little?

It seems best to lighten your hair little by little because going from black to silver is drastic. You don't want to fry your hair.
