I'm usually NW25 on MAC and I find shade 4.5 from UD Naked Skin foundation to be the closest match I've found on myself so far. I owned a MUFE Ultra HD foundation in the wrong shade (118 I think) before because of a beauty PA and I really liked the consistency of it despite the wrong shade. I cannot trust my local Sephora with shade selection. Can you suggest me a shade?

I previously read some reviews that findation 's matches are quite inaccurate. Temptalia matrix shows that my shade is 125 Sand. But I'm Googling swatches and find that 128, 135 and 145 might be good matches too so I'm wondering if anyone who wears same shade might have some suggestions :)

Temptalia is very inaccurate in my experience. it hasn't matched me even right once. findation has made a few mistakes before but 95% of the time it has matched me perfectly. the more closely the foundation you entered matches you (and the more you enter) the more accurate it is.
I'm on the nc side of the spectrum so I can't guess any better than you for mufe but if you don't have a place you can get samples I would check findation and order from a place that accepts returns (like sephora)
hopefully someone on here can be a bit more help

You should ask miss Jacqueline H on here she is the best at color matching - you can comment on her profile I'll send the link.

What foundation did you use in the MAC?
Not all the shades are consistent.
You may be lighter or darker depending on the formula.
For example, I'm more of a C35 (in the studio fix powder)
An NC30 (studio fix fluid and full coverage)
But I'm an NC35 in the Pro Longwear nourishing waterproof foundation.

From what I know 153 is too dark. I've heard the shades that end with a "3" leaned a bit olive.
NW25 is around the same depth as NC30 I wear 123 which is quite a bit lighter than 153. I think 153 is around NC40 or maybe NC43.
The shade 128 is too dark.
I'd say overall you'd be around 135 or 145 depending on the formula of NW25 you match.

Well, if the closest and most accurate match for you is the UD Naked Skin 4.5, that means that you straddle the line between light and medium skin depth and you have a more rosy (pink) undertone.
In the new MUFE Ultra HD, like most foundations...they are broken down by surface tone and undertone. 200's are light, 300's are medium and 400's are Tan and 500's are Dark/Deep. Then you have Y or R as the undertone designation paired with the shades in your depth and undertone range.
Picking a foundation shade online is daunting. Of course the best and most accurate way is to get matched competently is in person. If that's off the table, the best anyone can do is make suggestions. Based on what you have said in regards to the UD Naked Skin foundation match, I would take a look at shades R300 and R330.
Thank you Diana... :)

No problem miss Jacqueline and thank you for responding to the thread! You helped me pick my perfect shade in the MUFE mat velvet and you always give such great advice so hopefully the original poster will see your post and follow your advice :)

Thank you guys so much! Sephora here in Singapore do not accept returns (I know, it sucks). And their beauty advisors gave me a few wrong shades in the past so I did not want to ask for their help. This was incredibly helpful 😍
