Hi lovelies! so I just graduated nursing school and I will start working as a registered nurse in about 2 weeks. so that means I'm going to be working 12 hour shift and I don't want to look like death when I'm working. I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions for long wearing foundation? I usually go for a light to med coverage but I havent found one that lasts longer than 8 hours. I like either matte or natural finishes. and do anyone know of a natural looking highlighter? I love the glowy look a highlighter gives but I absolutely hate glittery highlighter.

Hmm..I'm not sure about a foundation, but the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Highlighter in 01 is beautiful and not glittery on the skin at all! It's my go-to natural highlighter, but it can be built up to be high shine as well. :)

I like the elf baked highlighter its pretty subtle and no glitter. Also I would recommend you try the urban decay all nighter setting spray it helps my makeup last a lot longer and I use the covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in one foundation but whatever foundation you like will last better with the setting spray

I second charli.. I work long hours in a hospital as well and the only thing that looks good and survive the endless shifts and florescent lights are powder foundations.

So I have begun using pur minerals and their primer. I can't say enough of it. I wore it for over 10hrs the other weekend when my bf and I went out of town for dinner and show. It still was flawless. I did use nyx setting spray with it however no issues at all, no breakouts, no shine, etc. I have oily skin. I am big fan!
